Its December :D
Yes yes I know Its literally only just December but I am one of those irritating people who adores everything to do with the Chrismas season.
My favourite thing is Christmas Weddings. There is nothing better than arriving at a venue that is adorned with christmas decorations and fires lit to do wedding hair and make up for a nervous bride.
It just seems to make a magical day even more so.
Kirsty got married on a saturday after Christmas. She doesnt live in the uk anymore so did most of her organising online. She is from Cornwall though and I went to secondary school with her so it really was a special day to be involved with. I worked along side Penny Pascoe who did Kirsty's make up and has also known the family for many years so it really was a lovely day. Kirsty opted for a low side chingon.
Alverton Manor (Truro)
Tracy who I have also known for many years now via past partners and then her being my dental nurse got married the saturday before christmas. She chose a barrel curl style with them all centered at the back of her head with a bit of height on top.
You would never know that she had only had snippets of sleep the night before due to her little boy being unwell. She looked radient and it was such a pleasure to be a part of her day.
Budock Hotel (Budock, Falmouth)
Overall though my favourite Winter Wedding to do Wedding hair for was actually in a November a few years back. Its doesnt snow much In cornwall but on this day we has a beautiful sheet of white. The hotel had their fires roaring and the day was truely stunning.
Liz had some damage to her hair when I first met her due to a bad colouring experiance so infact her hair was very short. We decided it was best to get some clip in hair extensions and do a second trial to create a fuller look. All the curls you see at the back are extensions. Her own hair was just long enough to come back and meet the top of the curls.
Bedruthan Hotal (Mawgan Porth, Newquay)
